Our field trip yesterday was a success (all students were returned to parents at the end of the day). One of our biggest fears around field trips is losing students and then having to explain it to the parent, even though this has not happened to us yet. The content presented covered many of the concepts learned in the Water Planet Science Unit. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Griffith Observatory does a nice job providing plenty of staff to keep the kids moving and engaged.
