The fifth grade classes would like to thank the Patrick family for purchasing the new lunch bins for all of our lunches. Hopefully those pesky squirrels will keep their sharp teeth away from them! They have been known to chew through plastic to get to those yummy sandwiches and sushi.

ELA: Students should take the opportunity to reread their Newbery book at this time. As book reviewers, they are looking for specific examples and being familiar with the details of the plot, characters, and setting will help students answer the questions for this project.

Math: HW#4 is to finish estimating all of your angles on your Crazy Quilt square, if you do not finish in class. The second thing is to organize the information from HW#1 & HW#2 onto a study guide to present to the class for Monday's Math warm-up.
