ELA HW: Varying Sentence Lengths
Math: Today we watched two videos that introduce the context for our work in math over the next week or so. While students do not have any HW to turn in on Friday, everyone is encouraged to answer some of their own questions that came up while watching the video or researching the following:
-Calaveras County, California
-Mark Twain's 1865 fictional short story, "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County"
-The Frog Jubiliee
-Calaveras County Fair that happens every May
Any information gathered can be shared at the beginning of math class on Friday.
